Thirty years of connection, collaboration and contribution.
On Friday, 18th September, the Austrian Business Chamber was proud to celebrate its 30th Anniversary together with the Austrian Embassy and the Austrian Cultural Forum, marking three decades of building relationships and strengthening the Austrian-South African business community.
Our sincere thanks to H.E. Ambassador Romana Koenigsbrun and Gerald Schweighofer, who hosted us at their Residence in Pretoria for this special occasion, and to Christian Mandl, Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum, for his valued support.
The evening also gave us the opportunity to recognise some of the people who have played an important role in shaping the ABC over the years.
We were delighted to welcome two previous ABC Chairmen, Karl Kebert and Thomas Zilk, and to thank them for their dedication, leadership and contribution to the Chamber.
A particularly special moment was the presentation of the Silver Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria to Christian Neuberger, Chairman of the ABC. The award was presented by H.E. Ambassador Romana Koenigsbrun in recognition of his contribution and commitment.
With founding members, longstanding members, partners and friends of the Chamber together in one place, the celebration was a fitting reflection of what the ABC has represented over the past 30 years: strong relationships, meaningful business connections and an enduring link between Austria and South Africa.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the ABC journey. We are proud of what has been built over the past three decades and look forward to the next chapter.
