Mabaleng Green Technologies or MGT was formed in 2008 with a vision to become the leading alternative energy company in Southern Africa. In the same year we entered into a distribution agreement with Grand Battery Technologies, now known as Sorted Energy Solutions (SET), to distribute and develop their alternative energy products to the South African market.

We are based in Gauteng and have the capacity to service all nine provinces through agency representation in the country and partnerships in the SADC region (mainly in Swaziland, Botswana and Lesotho) as well as Gabon, Benin and Nigeria.

MGT carries out solar lighting installation in deep rural areas where Eskom is unable to provide electricity. Thus such areas present challenges that we need to adopt to in order to become efficient in our operation thus meeting the targets set out in the Operational or Installation Plans.
