Scholarships for the European Forum Alpbach 2017

European Forum Alpbach 2017:

Stakeholders in the fields of science, commerce, politics, culture and civil society are set to converge on the Tyrolean mountain village of Alpbach from 16 August to 1 September 2017 to debate a range of contemporary issues. Young people from all over the world are invited to apply for a scholarship to attend the forum. The application closing date is 31 March 2017.

The European Forum Alpbach 2017 offers delegates a choice of 20 academic seminars and more than 200 plenary discussion and breakout sessions addressing the topic of ‘Conflict and Cooperation’ from a wide range of scholarly perspectives. In addition, the Alpbach symposia will be examining the topic in interactive debates focussing on health, education, technology, politics, law, economics and the built environment.

The European Forum Alpbach is characterised by its cosmopolitan and inter-disciplinary atmosphere, and the Alpbach scholarship programme is open to both undergraduates and graduates from any Austrian or international university along with young creative artists and all those involved in the creative industries.
